Types of Membership
UGATSEA offers various membership categories to cater to the diverse needs of aviation engineers within CAA:
Full Membership
Open to all qualified aviation engineers working under CAA’s Directorates: Directorate of Air Navigation Services (DANS), Directorate of Airport and Aviation Security (DAAS), and Directorate of Safety, Security, and Economic Regulation (DSSER). Full members have the right to vote, hold office, and participate fully in all association activities.Associate Membership
For individuals or professionals in related fields who wish to support UGATSEA’s objectives but do not qualify for full membership. Associate members can participate in activities and discussions but do not have voting rights.Student Membership
Available to students pursuing courses in aviation engineering or related fields who aspire to join the industry. This membership provides access to resources, networking opportunities, and events to help build their future careers.Honorary Membership
Awarded to distinguished individuals who have made significant contributions to the aviation engineering profession or UGATSEA. Honorary members are recognized for their service and commitment but do not have voting rights.

How to Join UGATSEA
Joining UGATSEA is simple! Here’s how you can become a member:
- Application: Submit your application addressed to the General Secretary, who will present it to the Executive Committee for review.
- Approval: Once approved by the Executive Committee, you will be officially inducted as a member at the Annual General Meeting (AGM).
- Membership Fees: A subscription fee of UGX 240,000 annually (or UGX 20,000 per month) applies for full membership. Fees for other membership categories are determined by the Executive and approved by the general assembly.
