Who we are

UGATSEA is the umbrella association for Aviation Engineers in CAA. The association was formed in 1996 and is affiliated to the International Federation of Air Traffic Safety Engineers Associations (IFATSEA), the umbrella organisation for all Air Transport Engineering associations.

IFATSEA is an ICAO recognised body which officially represents ATSEPS. Membership to the association is drawn from DANS, DAAS and DSSER and we currently 62 members.

Our Objectives

• To be platform to facilitate the exchange of information and ideas on those subjects amongst its members and similar Associations and for that purpose.
• Form and foster useful relationships with other professional associations on a national, regional and international level e.g. IFATSEA, UIPE, e.t.c.
• To be the voice of Air transport Safety Engineers in CAA.
• Afford a forum for discussions of engineering technology aspects in general and in particular on Civil Aviation.
• Arrange lectures or addresses by individuals or representatives of other professional engineering bodies with a view to widening our knowledge in general.
